The total compensation of employees and the labour income of the self-employed given as a percent of GDP, which is a measure of total output. Compensation of employees includes wages and salaries after tax and social insurance contributions payable by employers.

Data collection

GDP and compensation of employees are measured with national accounts, and labor income of self-employed is imputed using the national accounts data.
