The number of countries that implement the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. The Sendai Framework is a post-HFA strategic disaster control plan, which highlights proactive prevention in disaster control, rather than ex-post restoration to reduce deaths and damages attributed to disasters.

Data collection

All members report their disaster risk reduction (DRR) strategies in accordance with the recommendations and instructions of the Open-ended Intergovernmental Expert Working Group (OEIWG) by 2020.
